Here are some tips on how to farm them.
Multiplayer Battle
Unlike Clash of Clans, you can choose a base that you can attack! In Rival Kingdoms, everything is random. If luck is on your side, you can attack a base with more gold.
Treasure Chests
Sometimes, you can get more or you can get less. It depends! but mostly less or another nature primus.
Gold Smelter
Ah yes, the good old smelter. Always upgrade the smelter for free flowing gold.
Raider Position
If you are in a Kingdom, you get 10% to 25% bonus gold if you win an attack! wow!
Other Quests
There are daily quests in which there are lots of gold up for grabs. Even though you cannot finish the mission, at least you got yourself some gold. If you can’t get them all, you can always go back.

During the first week of the daily rewards, you can get a few gold.
